REFUND POLICY (Worldwide) — AODE
Last updated: 2026-01-30
This Refund Policy is part of the Terms of Sale.
1) Digital delivery and withdrawal (EU/EEA-style rules)
If you are a consumer and you requested immediate digital delivery and acknowledged loss of withdrawal rights at checkout, then refunds based on "change of mind" are not available after delivery/performance begins (license key issued and/or download access granted), to the maximum extent permitted by law.
If you did NOT request immediate delivery (or did NOT acknowledge the loss of withdrawal right where required), and mandatory law grants you a withdrawal right, you may withdraw within the statutory period (commonly 14 days) before performance begins.
2) When we may issue refunds (seller-friendly, but lawful)
We may issue a refund in these cases:
- Duplicate purchase (same customer, same product), confirmed by us.
- Payment error where delivery did not occur (no key issued, no access granted).
- Fraud prevention cancellation (if we cancel before delivery).
3) Lack of conformity (defects) — mandatory consumer remedies
If mandatory consumer law applies and the Software does not conform to the contract, you may have a right to remedies. We may first offer:
- a fix/patch/workaround, or
- replacement instructions,
within a reasonable time.
If conformity cannot be restored as required by law, you may be entitled to:
- a price reduction, or
- termination and refund,
as required by mandatory law.
4) What is NOT refundable (if permitted by law)
- "Change of mind" after digital delivery has begun with valid waiver/acknowledgement.
- Issues caused by your environment (server misconfiguration, third-party outages, unsupported OS versions, missing dependencies), unless the product is objectively non-conforming under mandatory law.
- Custom work, consulting, or services (if offered), once delivered.
5) How to request a refund
Send a request to:
Email: info@theaode.com
Include:
- Order ID / payment receipt
- Email used at checkout
- Short description of the problem
- Proof (error logs/screenshots) if claiming a defect
6) Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Timing depends on the payment provider (commonly 5–10 business days).
7) Mandatory law
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.
